The International Cheer Union (ICU) is the world governing body for the Sport of Cheerleading. ICU has a membership of 104 National Cheer Federations and nearly 4 million athletes on all continents around the world, ICU conducts an annual World Cheerleading Championships with 70 nations/over 10,000 athletes in attendance- as well as continental, and regional championships globally. Additionally, the ICU has conducted education and safety training for Cheer athletes, coaches and officials in over 100 countries in promotion of our Sport.
